DIY Easter Treats
DIY Eater Treats
I have decided this year to give out a fun presentation Easter egg box. It is full of colour, cuteness and sugary delights. They’re a great alternative to large chocolate eggs don’t you think? My nieces and nephews will love these DIY Easter treats. I can’t wait to see their little faces!
What is super great about these DIY Easter treats are that they’re not expensive to make. All you’ll need are
- An egg box
- Acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Straw or coloured streamers
- Cute fluffy chicks
- Mini chocolate eggs
- Selection of sweet treats
Step_1
Start by mixing your desired coloured with the acrylic paints. I chose a tangerine colour and used red, yellow and white acrylic paint.
Step_2
I would suggest painting the inside first. This will be drying when you get to paint the outside of the egg box. Plus you won’t get your fingers as messy at this stage!
Step_3
Then paint the outside. At this point you will get some paint on your fingers. If you don’t, then lucky you!! Leave for about 30 mins to let the acrylic paint dry.
Step_4
Begin dabbing dots using another colour with the tip end of your brush. Alternatively, you can use the end of a pencil that has a rubber.
Step_5
Assemble all your contents which you want to put in the egg box. I love the teeny ice-cream cone, the candy cane and the fluffy chick. They are all so cute!!
Step_6
Over fill each section with the straw or coloured streamers and then add your delightful sweet treats.
The finished egg box
Violá! It didn’t take too long to make, and you can add any sweets you like. I hope you have lots of fun making these DIY Easter treats 🙂

Thank you Jemma! It’s so easy to make and you can decorate the box and put anything you want in the egg box also! I bought lots of different sweets, which were very reasonable priced 🙂
