INJECTING COLOUR
Whilst working out how I want to decorate my living room, I have been investigating various ways of applying hints of colour.
If you like the minimal and uncluttered look, yet don’t want your room to look stark, and if you have white walls and you want to add accents of colour or pattern, then you can add interest by injecting some colour and pattern. This can be done by either accessorizing and/or accentuating certain features of the room, such as doors, window frames, small walls etc… By doing this, you will give your room an identity, personal to you.
I am particularly interested in using bright, ‘neon’ colours. I absolutely love what can be done with these colours and may consider applying it to a door or adding brightly coloured accessories when decorating my living room.
Here are some examples of what I have been looking at :-
