Christmas pattern collection

Christmas is just a few days away…eeek! I’m actually looking forward to Christmas this year and so far I’m feeling very organised. The tree is up and decorated, all the cards have been written and sent, I’ve just a couple more gifts to buy, the turkey and most of the food for Christmas day is resting nicely in the freezer. All I have to do now is wrap the presents, which may take a full day. I come from a large family, so there’s lots to wrap!

Over the past few weeks I’ve been creating both illustrations and patterns. These are a mixture of florals and Christmas designs and I’d like to share with you my Christmas pattern collection, which were drawn using my new ipad. I’m loving my ipad. It’s so quick and easy to use, although I haven’t mastered everything that I can do on it yet. I’m going to search for tutorials on google and if I come across any good ones, I’ll let you know!

Here are my pattern designs –

These are a combination of main designs and coordinates. I’ve kept to traditional reds and greens with hints of pinks, lilac, yellow, orange and blues. If I had to say which are my favourites, I’d choose the top fruit and robin pattern and the bold holly designs. The first pattern has a lovely feel to it and I like the simple berry and holly shapes with the other design.

Hope you’re all feeling festive and are ready for the Christmas day. I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and taking a few days doing not very much at all!

Cheers to a lovely Christmas a a fabulous 2018!
