Studio DIY roundup
I have had a fantastic weekend and I’ve accomplished so much! Firstly, I would like to say that I spent some quality mother and daughter, bonding time. I managed to persuade my teenager to have lunch with me and to visit a museum! She is currently at that age where family, in particular parents, come second best to her friends. She seems to think that she doesn’t need me as much; I think it must be a teenage thing! Secondly, I feel extremely pleased with myself that I put up the wallpaper in my studio – with just a little help from my partner! The last time I put up wallpaper was approximately ten years ago. I was suprised with myself that it went up so well and I must say, it is looking rather good! All I need now for the studio, is new flooring and to put in the new furniture. It’s really exciting!!
For my up and coming interior blog articles, I will be sharing some creative ideas that I have had for the things to put into my studio. I plan on using the studio as an ongoing project, so you can expect many more articles about it in the future. There’s a moodboard below, illustrating my studio diy roundup. I’ve seen lots of nice ideas for me to make and I’d like to show you just a few of the ones which have inspired me. Each idea looks easy to do and I’m really looking forward to getting started.

I love the ombré effect on the vase as well as the colour! It’s such a beautiful item and I’m very much looking forward to creating this effect on my vase. It’s such a lovely idea!!
